Chile French Toast


3 ea. Eggs, large
1 tsp. TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
1 cup Cream, 18%
8 slices White bread, cut diagonally, each 1/3" thick
1/3 lb. Jack cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Cilantro, fresh, minced
2 cups Salsa


1. In a wide bowl, beat eggs, TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce and cream until well blended.
2. Dip 4 slices of bread into egg mixture and top bread evenly with cheese and cilantro. Dip remaining slices in egg mixture, coating both sides. Top cheese-covered bread with plain slices to form 4 sandwiches.
3. Cook in an oiled, thick-bottomed fry pan until they begin to brown. With side spatula, turn over and continue baking until they are puffed and evenly browned. Cut in half crosswise and serve with salsa.
